You got all the Q`s and we got a whole lot of A`s

to make your experience at Cream

more relaxed and comfortable.

appointment

when should i book my appointment?

In order to ensure you’re not rushed with your decision-making, we recommend that you begin dress shopping 8-10 months in advance of your wedding date. This is the ideal, not the absolute.

In a rush? rushes can most always be accommodated – some additional charges may apply for the designer to prioritize your order in the dressmaking process. A variety of dresses can be ordered within 5 weeks.

In a real rush? Some dresses can even be purchased “off-the-rack” means these are sample dresses to take home with you the same day.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, our private fittings are by appointment only and are recommended for brides who are on the serious hunt to find their perfect dress.

The appointments are scheduled for around 2 hours.

Are walk-ins accepted?

We do have certain days and times each month for you to come in to get to know us, have a look and browse around. We don’t do fittings on these days (means you can not try on any dresses – but you can certainly make a booking for one) as we want to make your dress finding experience a private one.

To find out when the next open door at Cream is head to our Instagram page @cream_bridal, fill out the contactform on our website or send us an email to hello@cream-bridal.ch.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Aside from your shining self, we invite you to bring an open mind, photos of style inspiration, and any undergarments (preferably in the shade of your skin color).

Please note that we do not wear shoes in our boutique to protect the dresses from getting dirty and wet. Slippers are available, but you may also feel at home in your socks or barefoot. The floor is cleaned after each customer and the toilet facilities including the floor are disinfected so that everyone feels comfortable.

Do you charge for appointments?

We don’t believe in putting a price on an appointment.

Since we are a small, appointment-only business, we thank you in advance for your cooperation, as we take in a very limited amount of brides a day and we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. Thank you!

What does the purchasing process involve?

Once you have decided on your cream dream-dress, we will take your measurements and discuss any changes that need to be made such as raising the neckline or adding extra length, etc. You may want to add straps to a gown or buttons down the back. All of these things will be decided at this time.

To order your gown, a 60% deposit is required with the remainder of the balance due once your gown arrives at Cream Bridal.

Dresses sold “off the rack” (samples) and all accessories must be paid for in full.

Is there parking available?

There is plenty of parking spots around the block at Wengistrasse 2. The nearest car park is at Molkenstrasse 5/9, 8004 Zurich (Parkhaus Helvetiaplatz).

Who should I bring to my appointment?

A large group means more opinions and can be very overwhelming and confusing for you. We recommend keeping your group under 5 and bringing only the people whose opinions matter most to you.

Don’t need anyone else’s opinion? That’s great too! Shopping alone makes it easy for you to focus on what you truly want and don’t worry, we will be there to celebrate with you after finding “the one”!

Is the salon dog-friendly?

As much as we love animals, we kindly ask that you do not bring any dogs or pets in general to your appointment.

Do you offer sample sales?

We also have a sample sale once or twice a year where we sell some of our samples off the rack! To find out about the next Sample Sale head over to our Instagram @cream_bridal or send us an email to hello@cream-bridal.ch.

A sample sale is a one or two days only event that offers deep discounts for lightly tried on showroom samples. This event is ideal for brides who are working within a tight budget, have a short engagement (under 3-4 months), or just love the satisfaction of snagging a designer gown for a steal.

Where did the name Cream come from?

Cream is a mix between the owners name (Caroline) and her grandmother’s name (Emma) who she misses deeply since her passing in 2016. She chose to incorporate it into the business as a way to honor her grandmother and her family.

Of course, Cream is also a shade of white and represents wedding dresses.  She also loved that Cream rhymes so well to Dream (building her own business was her dream and now she gets to help woman find her dream dress) that’s why she created the hashtag #thecreamdream.

How do I contact you?
